DMC: "Fountain" by Margaret Simon

Fountain
Splashes shimmer
I wonder if coins
Hide, waiting for a hand to hold
Treasure.

  5. Margaret, this is beautiful! I love that shimmer, and I like the way I can read that last line as either a continuation--with the hand holding the coin as a treasure--or as its own idea, as a definition of holding hands/friendship itself being the treasure. Love it!
