TLD reader Margaret Simon has challenged us to write a mindful poem about the present moment. Click HERE for more details and to add your poem to the padlet. While some poems will be shared as daily ditties this month, all contributions will be included in a wrap-up celebration on Friday, May 29th.

  1. This is gorgeous, Mary Lee! It's pretty incredible to me how succinctly you've managed to capture this moment without a photograph.

  2. What a fun surprise! Thanks for spotlight! And thank you to Margaret for a great challenge!

  3. I especially like the sky metaphors of comet and contrail. I'm enjoying watching birds this spring. Thanks for writing and keeping the Twitter community going.

  4. Oh, I love the idea of that 'contrail', Mary Lee. Lovely image!

  5. Yes, they are flying and flying. What I also notice so much these mornings is their birdsong. It is a lovely sound and sight. And the bluejays and crows, well they add to the chorus for sure!!!
