today I don't turn on
the news
#haikuforhealing 11.27.16
not by hiding
from the world but by living
widely in it

I Love what Mary Lee is doing with #haikuforhealing & expect to join in. Appreciations to her & to you for these thoughts, Michelle.
ReplyDeleteAlso, excited to see what TLD is gifted with today to complete November.
In a few words, you've given us substance for this new way of living, Heidi. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Heidi (and advice I need to follow.)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully stated, Heidi. What I needed for today.
ReplyDeleteI love how these haiku come off as a conversation, Heidi, while simultaneously speaking directly to the reader. Thanks for the poetry medicine today. Echoing Jone and the others, it was just what I needed.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. Inspiration to start my own. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHeidi, you and Mary Lee make good partners in helping us use poetry to heal. I will be joining in beginning 12/1. I have had to keep the news off. We have the TV tuned to the Hallmark channel. Even my husband can't watch the news.
ReplyDeleteRight on point!
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi and Michelle!
I love how these two work together. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful insight to be reminded of in this times Beautiful poem
