sunmotion

little ripples of leafquiver
push dapples across my lap
the more the shiver of sun
the stiller I become

  1. I love the word choice here, leafquiver, as if its one motion. The image of sitting peacefully in its wake is what being present is all about. Thanks for posting Heidi's poem today.

  4. So much movement in the first three lines, and then the contrast in the fourth. Maybe we take all the movement in and make something new with it. One to re-read! xo

  7. Leafquiver moments offer moments to savor. I loved the word leafquiver when I first read it on the website.
