DMC: "Sparrow" by Elizabeth Steinglass

SPARROW

small, brown bird
no cap, no crest
no scarlet streak
across his breast

small, brown bird
ho-humly dressed,
but always near,
so loved the best

Liz - You would adore Charlotte Zolotow's book PETER AND THE PIGEONS.
