DMC: "Peppermint's Gratitude" by Tabatha Yeatts

Peppermint's Gratitude

My scent is sent
to salute you --

a clear cloud
of praise,

a tribute to you
for my roots,

stem,
and veins.

I push out --

my rough edges
reach for your rays,

striving to be
closer to you

all my days.

  3. Ah, the patience of mint, right? It's lovely, Tabatha, fun to hear about the mint's gifts.
