Filling the Well: Salvador Dalí and Pilobolus

Those who do not want to imitate anything,
produce nothing.
– Salvador Dalí
"Die Andalusische Hand"
This piece was most likely inspired by the 1929 surrealistic film collaboration between Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí called An Andalusian Dog (Un Chien Andalou). Warning: the Buñuel/Dalí film is a bit graphic and not for children.
Learn how Pilobolus brings shadows to life HERE.

  1. The video! Love the surprises :)

  2. Saw Pilobolus in NYC in a tiny theatre in a weird neighborhood before it got famous. Blown away! The video brings it back.
