DMC: "Nothing" by Elizabeth Steinglass

NOTHING

Sometimes
nothing
is smaller
than anything.
Nothing’s
what’s left
when something’s
all gone.
Other times
nothing
feels bigger
than
everything,
like when
I’m thinking
of someone
who’s gone.

  3. This comes off so simply, yet wields such power, Liz. The voice of a child whose sincerity rings true.
