I'm embarrassed to admit (feeling sheepish, even) that this little ditty hits home for me, Vivian. Insomnia is no fun, but I love the humor in your zeno, and also that you found an 8 syllable word for your first line– wow!
ReplyDeleteYup..that was a challenge...but in Renee's class, we did a couple of assignments where I had to find long multi-syllable words...and I love them in a poem.

ReplyDeleteFunny -- I was just reading a poem by Rumi about worrying. I feel like today's poem is sending me a message. Stop worrying! Everything will be fine whether you worry or not.
