Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate this month of Poem Movies, inspired by Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong's challenge. Join us here tomorrow for an end-of-month wrap-up.
Thanks for the challenge from Sylvia and Janet, and for posting, Michelle. It's the first time using IMovie. I have a lot to learn! But I do love trees as you see. I've taken a lot of pics of them in these past few years!
Lovely! Good job, Linda. Great hearing your voice :). "Trees" is one of the first poems I ever memorized as a child, and until I was in high school, I thought Joyce Kilmer was a woman.
Lovely, Linda. Your tree pictures are wonderful. Love hearing your voice. My mother was listening and said she could recite along. I never memorized poems, but think now maybe I should.
Love the variety of images - all seasons, all kinds...and the way you let the images at the end just move along at a stately pace, confirming the essential message of the poem, and that last line. Also - so great to hear your voice again, dear friend!
Another good one! I liked the way the images continued after the reading was finished.
ReplyDeleteSome of my best friends are trees. A beautiful compilation, Linda!
