So True! And the pace of nature allows us to truly experience the wonder that is the journey. It amazes me how many wonders I have time to see because of our dog's stop-and-sniff mentality -- so many things to notice when you slow down and amble.
Oh, wow. I don't think I've read this Emerson quote before. I really think I might incorporate this into a crafty something-or-other and hang it in my office. I feel most at home when I am in nature because my senses come alive. It truly is about the pace, but also about the appreciation of what you experience. Thanks for sharing, Michelle. And the snowdrops picture is stunningly beautiful. We are expecting a major snowstorm (AGAIN) tomorrow. I would LOVE to see some real snowdrops growing outside, but this beautiful pic will have to hold me over, I guess.
All things come to her who perseveres :-)
