DMC: "Comfortable" by Donna JT Smith
COMFORTABLE
Carefree with barefeet
Overalls and a tee-shirt
Melting into a hammock
Freely swinging,
One foot dangling
Relaxed, not
Taxed
Azure eyes
Blink slowly until
Lazy lids
Extinguish the light.

That is a perfect profile of comfortable. Well, done Donna! I especially like "relaxed, not taxed". I need to head over to the padlet and see all these beauties in a bunch.
ReplyDeleteI could sure use a hammock to melt into right about now! Like Linda said, a perfect profile of comfortable, Donna. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNow wishing I had a hammock for the afternoon nap! Love this kind of "comfortable."
ReplyDeleteI love that dangling relaxed bare foot. Just right for feeling comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI love that dangling foot! Perfect!
DeleteThanks for sharing my acrostic today. What a fun exercise this was. And thanks for the kind comments! Wish it was hammock season!
ReplyDeleteI confess, Donna, I hadn't even noticed it was an acrostic. Now I'm REALLY impressed!
