Monday Musing: Halloween

Waiting – London Session, 2010 by Davide Gabino

My Halloween costume is Godot. I'm not showing up at the party,
just texting the host every 10 minutes that I'm on my way.

  1. As soon as I finish laughing, Michelle, I plan to share the url of this page, at Dr. Carla Hayden's twitter space. She is the history making new LOC head director, with a children's literature background On her twitter feed today she's asking for favorite literary costumes. This is a fabulous quote! Happy Trick-or-Treat to you & your Family.

  2. Today at the twitter link for Dr. Carla Hayden, new Librarian of Congress, she asks for favorite literary Halloween costumes.

(Michelle, of course please take this down if I am out of order here in posting...)

    1. Not at all out of order, Jan. Thanks for the heads up!

    2. Thanks, I just posted a photo of a co-worker and myself. See if you can find us!

  3. Thanks for the laugh, Michelle. And the pic. Happy Halloween to you and yours, too.

  4. When my son and his band did costume Halloween gigs, I used to go as "mother of the bass player," and sometimes it was "mother-in-law of the lead guitarist." Jeans and a tee make a very versatile costume!
